Mankkayam waterfalls near Palode, Nedumangadu taluk, Trivandrum. Tourists visit here all year round. It is recently declared as an eco-tourism center by the state forest department.

Chittar is the river that flows through the Braimur forest area from Cherrapunji. There are two falls in the river valley of the river. - Calculation and Cross. View points are set up by the authorities.

Trekking is possible in the hill station from Maniyam. Binary line - Ayyampanpara trek is half a day. There is another waterfalls in Ayyampara.
